We hardly watch television, only a few specific shows or series desired, that also found on youtube after a few hrs of television. So why do we need a television in the house was the thought of people like us. To cater to this emergent demand, companies dealing with the TV are offering smart TVs which enable viewers to stream online programs directly to their television, surf the web, consume social media as well as play games.
Over the years, TVs have endured colossal transformation in their size, shape, design and the way it is viewed. The viewing resolution has also improved profoundly as the TVs made progress from CRT to Ultra HD (UHD). Now we have come a long way in a change in the visual entertainment industry from black & white TV to pocket TV. As television changed there was always controversy among us about what would be the content now shown on television. To keep the television live in every household drawing-room. It wasn’t too tough to keep the glory alive. The idea of direct involvement of viewers in the shows was the concept. It’s still on the run with different content & story awarding the participation. It just started a few years back in our country.
Now, most of the television in the market have a show where there is the direct involvement of viewers, which makes these shows increase in craze among all of us, the big unexpected prizes are given to winners as well. Chamchami, Nepali Tara, comedy champion and “Nephop ko shreepech” which is entertaining and hunting hip-hop stars these days are the National Emerged Reality show. Nepal Idol, Dancing with Stars Nepal, The voice of Nepal, Dohari Champion 2021, Saregamapa Lil’s Champs Nepal 2021, Himalaya Roadies are some of the international reality shows on our Television telecaster from different channels.
These reality shows are not only for entertaining viewers or gaining TRP. As reality TV shows gain momentum, more people are inspired by the participants they see on these shows, validating that hard work leads to success. This in turn motivates others to follow the footsteps of the participants and reach their goals as well. Reality shows allow you to feel more engaged, than a scripted television show.
They prepare us for the real world by giving us a virtual experience from the perspective of someone else. Being able to watch someone encounter an experience, and learn from their mistakes is a valuable asset in the real world. They bind people together and trigger reactions on social networks.
Television is a fantastic educational tool. It broadens knowledge of different cultures and promotes tolerance and global understanding of international issues.No body can replace television it can only be optimized. There is still a big market for television in the global market.
